“At first one loves only when one is loved.
Next, one loves spontaneously, but one wants to be loved in return.
Then one loves even if one is not loved, but one still wants one's love to be accepted.
And finally one loves purely and simply, without any other need or joy than that of loving.”
--The Mother
For a relationship to blossom there is an essential foundation of friendship on which it needs to be built. Where we are curious to know each other's inner psychological worlds. Where we mutually build a culture of appreciation, fondness, affection and respect. Where we turn towards each other to connect and recognise our emotional needs, especially when the going gets tough. Where we are willing to inculcate a positive perspective, manage conflict and intentionally build a life around supporting each other's aspirations moving towards a life of shared meaning.
This workshop is curated around 4 days of exploration on the following elements:
- Understand what makes relationships work well and what makes them fail.
- Identify key interventions to help strengthen a couple’s conflict management and enhance a couple’s friendship system.
- Explore interventions to enable a couple’s system of shared meaning.
- Develop psychological self-soothing essentials for a healthy relationship.
The Mother says,
“Beyond being united in physical lives, material interests, sensations, deeper feelings, the mind… in the depths, at the centre, at the summit of the being, there is a Supreme Truth of being, an Eternal Light, independent of all the circumstances of birth, country, environment, education; That is the origin, cause and master of our spiritual development; it is That which gives a permanent direction to our lives; it is That which determines our destinies; it is in the consciousness of That that you must unite. To be one in aspiration and ascension, to move forward at the same pace on the same spiritual path, that is the secret of a lasting union.”
Let us together explore the different facets of designing harmony for a lasting union.
